My name is Steven Payne and I am a Creative Generalist, currently based in Kent. I am graduate of the University for the Creative Arts, with a degree in CG Arts and Animation, and have several years experience working in creative industries, most notably, animation production.

My formal training is in 3D animation, with skills in 3D modelling, animation and texturing, as well as a thorough knowledge of the 3D animation production pipeline. I have experience utilising these skills in the production of 3D animation, for both personal and commercial work.

I characterise myself as a 'creative generalist', as in addition to 3D animation, I am proficient and experienced with graphic design, illustration, motion graphics, video editing and project management, regularly utilising a combination of these skills across a single project. I have worked independently on whole projects, from pre to post production, as well as functioning as a handy extra pair of creative hands on larger projects, turning my skills to all sorts of tasks, when necessary.

Currently, I am available for remote, part-time freelance opportunities, outside of my full-time work. I am always on the lookout for opportunities to utilise and develop my creative skills, whilst contributing to interesting and unique projects. So if you're in need of something of a creative handyman, I may be what you're looking for.
